A lot of the time we get stuck in the habit of believing that what we do has to be perfect or good, and we’re so consumed by the desire to feel good that we don’t realize that we’re living in an increasingly flawed world.
We are constantly bombarded by the idea that we need to be “perfect,” but what we’re really feeling is guilt for feeling that we haven’t done enough.
We’re trapped in a cycle of perfectionism, because we’re constantly told that we are.
So when we do something we love, we become trapped in that cycle, and that’s when we feel bad about ourselves.
The reality is that if you want to feel great, you have to stop feeling guilty for feeling like you need to stop being you.
